CallShield is a default phone app that helps you manage incoming calls using profiles, contact categories, and call screening. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your choices.
All app data is stored locally on your device in a private app database. CallShield does not transmit your contacts, call history, or phone activity to external servers.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. The app does not include advertising SDKs or analytics trackers.
The app requests phone, contacts, and call log permissions because it functions as a default dialer and call screening app. Emergency numbers are always allowed and are never blocked by the app.
You can delete all locally stored app data at any time from the three-dot menu using Delete My Data. Uninstalling the app also removes local app data from your device. Device call logs and contacts stored outside the app remain on your phone according to your device settings.
Sensitive app data is excluded from cloud backup and device-to-device transfer backup rules. You should protect your device with a screen lock.
This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the in-app policy and on this hosted page.
